Larry Mayo

Larry earned his B.A. in Sociology from Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts in 1990, his J.D. from New England Law Boston in 1996, and his LL.M. in Banking and Financial Law from Boston University School of Law in 2000.  He is a member of the bar of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts (admitted in 1996), and United States District Court, District of Massachusetts. Larry is a Member of the Massachusetts Municipal Lawyers Association, Massachusetts Bar Association, and The Real Estate Bar Association for Massachusetts.

Larry served as Assistant Corporation Counsel to the City of Boston prior to his opening Attorney Lawrence P. Mayo, P.C. in 2001.  He was inducted into the Parkman Club for exceptional service to the City of Boston in 1999. He also served as a Mentor in the Boston Bar Association Summer Jobs Program.

Larry lives in Hingham with his wife Lynn and three children, Anna, Jared and Ethan. He enjoys spending time with the family on Nantucket, coaching lacrosse, assisting with cub scouts, camping and hiking, and participating in many outdoor recreational sports
